Rental Solution for Crowd Control

Stanchion Rental Quotes in Halifax

A rate card would tell you almost nothing useful, which is why there is not one here. Six posts at a boardroom door and six hundred across an exhibition floor are the same equipment doing completely different work, so every order gets quoted on its own. This page sets out what that figure is assembled from, so nothing in it arrives unexplained.

What drives the figure

Six factors, and every quote is assembled out of them. Yours reflects your own quantities, dates and address — not an average taken across everybody else's.

What a stanchion rental quote is assembled from
QuantityThe main oneThe largest single factor. A doorway wants a handful of posts; an exhibition floor with a switchback feeding it is a different order entirely.
Rental periodDays to a month+An evening and a fortnight are not quoted the same way, and a long hire is emphatically not the short one multiplied out.
What the equipment has to doShape, not headcountOne crowd of a fixed size produces three different orders depending on whether the line is a lane, a switchback or a perimeter.
Delivery addressAnywhere in Nova ScotiaIt all leaves from Halifax. How far it travels, and what the access is like when it lands, is counted into the figure rather than appended below it.
Setup and pickupOptionalOur crew can lay the whole thing out and strike it, or we can drop and leave. Say which and it appears as its own line.
Custom workQuoted the same wayA runner cut to an odd walk, belt and rope posts mixed through one run, a barrier line bent around a building — routine, not exceptional.

What is already included

Three things to know before you read a quote from us:

  • Insurance

Counted in already. No separate insurance line appears on top of the rental.

  • Pickup

Collecting the equipment is part of delivery, not a second visit charged again.

  • Booking

Payment in full is what moves equipment out of the pool and onto your dates.

Setup and teardown

Set-out and strike by our crew are optional on every order, and quoted against the job rather than sold at a flat rate — eight posts in a lobby and a perimeter around a fair site are not the same afternoon’s work. Flag it on the enquiry and it comes back as its own line.

A fair number of clients handle it themselves, and that is entirely reasonable. Nothing is assembled or tooled: posts are weighted, belts clip on, and a modest run is well within what a venue team can manage between them.

Delivery

Delivery is inside the quoted figure rather than added beneath it, and coming back for the equipment afterwards belongs to the same line. No second number turns up later.

Each address is quoted on its own from two things: the address and the size of the order. A doorway run inside the city and a full load going to the far end of the province are not the same trip, and the distance accounts for the rest.

The towns we name are on service areas →. Or skip it and send the event address with your dates — it comes back itemised either way.

Cancellation

Dates move and events fall through. This is precisely what happens if yours does:

Cancellation terms
More than 48 hours before the rental dateFull refund.
Under 48 hours, but more than 24Half of it comes back.
Less than 24 hours beforeNo refund.

The binding wording sits on the terms and conditions → page; the table above is simply the plain-language version of it.

Questions about the quote

What is actually inside the figure?

The equipment and the insurance together, with no insurance charge sitting on top. Delivery appears as its own line on the quote rather than surfacing afterwards, and collection once the event is down is counted within it.

What do you need to quote?

Three things, in this order: the event dates, which products and how many of each, and the event address. From those an event rental specialist itemises the equipment, works delivery out for that address, and sends one figure back covering all of it.

When does the equipment become ours?

When the order is paid in full, and not a moment before. On a weekend that everybody wants, settling early is worth considerably more than settling cheaply.

Is there a booking deadline?

Only where the calendar creates one. Award season, the summer wedding run, graduation weeks and December all fill early. Beyond those there is no minimum notice — send the dates and we will come back on what is free against them.
