Why choose the red runner
A guest gets out of a car, sees red on the ground and learns three things at once: where to walk, that they were expected, and that this part of the evening is being photographed. None of it needs saying. Premieres, award nights and classic arrivals rest entirely on that reaction, which is why nothing has ever displaced red as the default.
Inside a frame it behaves well too. Against dark suits and evening wear the separation is clean, and a step-and-repeat gets a base that registers in every shot instead of dissolving into the floor.
